A view of Gokarna from my eyes

If you are looking for a perfect holiday with peace and nature Gokarna is the destination. It was a long weekend and we left from work early around 3 pm. We boarded a sleeper bus from Bangalore and reached gokarna on Friday morning around 7:30.
The journey was just amazing we encountered a variety of sky. From hot oven to a chill wind and even to drizzling at places. I saw the sunrise thru my bus and started observing surroundings later. There were small huts, salt plants all around. Finally at around 8 our driver asked us to get down we are at gokarna. My first impression of the city was "PEACE". the city was decorated and some brahmins were walking bare foot. As our hotel was not booked so out first task was to find a shelter for next three days. Actually not even a single place was empty online. We kept walking and found a hotel Gokarna International. I read about it in some hotel sites, luckily they had rooms available and that too economical. but after enquiring we learnt that the main beaches were 6-7kms far from that place so we took an auto paid him 100 bucks and went straight to kudle beach (I heard somewhere that we can find cheap accommodation beach side). kudle beach is around 500m far from the auto drop point and the area has a slope. We went down and WOW it was transcendental silence, waves hitting the rocks and making a drastic sound.
We spent the half hour in searching for some economical room.

How To Reach:
